Areas in Slakthusområdet
Slakthusområdet is a handful of streets between the old halls – the restaurant hall on Hallvägen and Hallgränd, the venues on Styckmästargatan, the nightclub on Slakthusgatan and the coming metro entrance at Rökerigatan – and across Arenavägen are the arenas. Hallvägen
Hallvägen is Slakthusområdet's main street, and the restaurant hall Hus 26 turns its long side to it: the roastery, Matateljén and the pizzeria at number 9, the ramen kitchen at 13, the smørrebrød bar, the lunch buffet at 10 and the sauna with cold plunge at 7A are here, and the metro's south entrance opens by the street in 2030.
Hallgränd
Hallgränd is the lane between the halls, with the charcoal-grill restaurant and the wine bar in Hus 26 on one side and the 2,000-capacity concert venue Fållan, the club BAR15 and the burger truck on the other.
Styckmästargatan
Styckmästargatan runs along the back of the halls: the listening bar Hosoi in Hus 26 at one end, the concert venues Slaktkyrkan and Hus 7 with the yard Kvarteret between them at the other.
Slakthusgatan
Slakthusgatan is the area's old entrance street from Enskedevägen, with the nightclub Slakthuset and its rooftop Terrassen in the old slaughterhouse at number 6.
Rökerigatan
Rökerigatan is Slakthusområdet's north end towards Globen: the gym is here, and the metro's north entrance opens by the street in 2030, a couple of hundred metres from today's Globen station.
Globenområdet
Globenområdet is across Arenavägen and is not Slakthusområdet, but it is where you go for what the blocks still lack: Avicii Arena, Hovet and 3Arena with their events, and Globen Shopping with a grocery store, pharmacy, Systembolaget and a hairdresser.
