About Slakthusområdet
Slakthusområdet in Johanneshov is Stockholm's old slaughterhouse and meatpacking district, today the city's biggest cluster of restaurants, concert venues and clubs – the 1910s halls along Hallvägen and Styckmästargatan have become dining rooms, wine bars and stages, a couple of hundred metres from Avicii Arena. At the same time the area is being rebuilt as a neighbourhood: the first residents moved in in May 2026, the upper-secondary school opened in August 2026 and the metro arrives in 2030. This is where the businesses are gathered with opening hours, menus and offers – and they can take over and update their own pages.
