About
Matateljén was reborn in May 2025 in Kylhuset 26 at Hallvägen 9, after closing at its old address in spring 2024. Founders Henrik Sauer and Anna Klyvare built the kitchen as fully open islands in the middle of the room – the atelier feel is the name – and the same team runs Ateljéns Pizza in the same building. The menu changes monthly: in August 2026 it carried cockerel from Rosa Skattlådan at 365 kronor, ravioli 265, halibut 235 and duck rillettes 195, with bread from Ett Bageri and cheese from Hagarnas mejeri as snacks and a four-course menu at 795 in the evening. Lunch is the lunch of the week with meat, fish or vegetarian for 195 kronor, or three courses for 295 with starter and dessert. Open Tuesday to Thursday 11:30–23, Friday 11:30–24 and Saturday 16–24; closed Sunday and Monday. Tables are booked through Superb.
