3Arena is the big arena at the southern end of Globenområdet, built on the site of Söderstadion and opened on 24 August 2013 with Robyn, Lars Winnerbäck and Kent in front of 39,714 people. Until the turn of the year it was Tele2 Arena; on 1 January 2025 it changed its name. Capacity is around 30,000 for sport and around 40,000 for concerts, depending on where the stage stands. The attendance record is Ant Wan's 40,899 on 12 October 2024. Both Hammarby Fotboll and Djurgårdens IF have played their home games here since summer 2013, with six metres from the first row to the touchline. The building is 35 metres high and 240 metres long, designed by White Arkitekter, with a sliding roof, 600 digital screens and a Miljöbyggnad Gold certification. Under the arena is Arenagaraget with around 650 spaces, and outside there are 1,000 bicycle spaces. Tickets are sold through AXS and the box offices on the north and south sides open around events. The bus terminal at Gullmarsplan is about eight minutes' walk away.
