Stockholm's first ice hockey arena, opened 4 November 1955 – around 8,100 for hockey and 9,000 for concerts; to be replaced by a new 10,000-seat arena under the city's June 2026 decision.

Hovet is Johanneshovs isstadion, Stockholm's first ice hockey arena, opened on 4 November 1955 with an international in which Tre Kronor beat Norway 7–2. The architect was Paul Hedqvist, and the suspended roof by David Jawerth came in 1962 when the temporary stands were replaced. The arena has been called Hovet since 1989. Capacity is around 8,100 for hockey and around 9,000 for concerts; the attendance record of 17,098 dates from the standing-room era. Djurgården Hockey has played its home games here and in Avicii Arena since 1955, AIK Hockey since 1962, and both clubs have the 2026–2027 season booked here. The Beatles (four concerts in 1964), ABBA in 1979, Queen, Prince and Rihanna are among those who have played the hall. On 3 June 2026 the City of Stockholm presented plans for a new hockey arena for around 10,000 spectators to replace Hovet, on Hovet's own site or the old Söderstadion site; no construction start year is published. The arena is run by Stockholm Live and tickets are sold through AXS.
